A long standing tradition for summers in Gastonia has been visiting Robinwood Lake. It is open for swimming from Memorial Day to Labor day. You can also have pic-nics, go fishing, have cook outs, and birthday parties where the children can slide in “kiddie land” You can even have your church service and baptism there as well. Ask any local and you are sure to hear stories of jumping from the high dive on the infamous tower , hanging out by the lake or catching big mouth bass. It is open to the public, and also offers memberships to their swim club.
