This week I am going to write about luxury homes in Fort Mill SC. To start I had to find out the official definition of luxury home. Turns out there are many different views and ideas about what constitutes a luxury home. Many believe that price is the most important. Others believe the style of home makes the difference. (you know, these big monstrosities that a village could fit in). The last major category would be amenities. This would be golf courses, parks, waterfront, etc. Now I love Fort Mill but there aren’t too many million dollar, waterfront, and golf course homes to talk about. So for our purposes lets talk about a few of the neighborhoods that are considered special for our area.
I’m going to limit this blog to 400K and up. And before we get started I’m going to go ahead and mention Baxter Village. Folks, I know there are some really nice homes in Baxter Village but it is my belief that people live there for the neighborhood not thehomes. I think Ashford on the Water should be on this list. It’s a smaller neighborhood but a lot of people like that and it is also on a small lake. Beacon Knoll should definitely be included. It has great amenities, a larger man made lake and a nice winding drive bracketed by some truly special homes. Another neighborhood that always sticks outin my mind when someone is asking about Fort Mill luxury homes is Eppington South. It might not have all of the amenities some other neighborhoods have but I have had the pleasure of viewing a few of the homes in Eppington and I was very impressed every time.
No real need for a new paragraph but the previous one was starting to run long. If you are looking for a great neighborhood with all brick luxury homes with nice large lots and very close to Charlotte you should take a closer look at Bridgehampton. Bridgemill in Lancaster is definitely on the list. It has a Fort Mill address and is also very close to Charlotte. A couple of the neighborhoods that I think you will like and do fit on this list are Bailiwyck, Oxford Place, and Huntington Farms. And if you are looking for a really big, expensive, upscale, luxury home check out Firethorn and Springfield.
