On a hot summer day, what better way is there to cool off than attend an ice cream social? The good residents of Kellswater Bridge in Kannapolis NC held one this past Saturday at the pool.
There were so many flavors and toppings to choose from. My son had chocolate ice cream sans the toppings. My two daughters had vanilla with every topping offered…chocolate syrup, nuts, M&Ms, crushed Oreos, and so much more. As for me, I opted for the chocolate/vanilla swirl with crushed Oreos, whipped cream and a cherry.
Boy, was it good!
Afterward, everyone enjoyed a dip in the pool. The children played for hours.
A good time was had by all. I can’t wait for the next get-together.
