Huntersville, North Carolina will host a festival that will promote healthy food and Fitness.

A family friendly festival will held on May 22nd from 8:30 am to noon in downtown Huntersville to promote healthy lifestyles, food and fitness.  The festival will begin with a parade starting at Huntersville Elementary School and will end at the farmers market at the Caboose located at Main and Maxwell streets.

The goal of the parade is to promote active and healthy living.  Families with children are encouraged to participate in the Parade.  The Huntersville farmer market, residents and visitors will find a number of food vendors offering samples and healthy food options, fresh vegetables and fruit. There will also be games that will be sponsored by Huntersville Parks and Recreation and Discovery Place that will offer fun for the whole family.

Downtown Huntersville is within minutes of Birkdale Village shops, the crystal clear waters of Lake Norman and the nearby towns of Davidson ,Cornelius,  Mooresville and Denver.   The town of Huntersville has easy access to I-77 exit 23 or 25.
