December 2009 Weddington Real Estate Housing Report 

Sales in December were slower than normal but that was to be expected given the economy.  The next few months should be better with people taking advantage of the tax credit and all the incredible deals for buyers as more bank sales pop up.  

There were 70 homes listed as active in December at an average list price of $906,106

 No properties were contingent
3 properties were conditional
1 property went pending
4 properties were withdrawn
3 properties expired

4 properties sold at an average list price of $467,925 with an average sales price of $456,125

There were 85 homes on the market with an average list price of $865,466

2 homes sold with an average list price of $619,450 and sales price of $556,250 and averaging 219 days on the market.
