27 homes sold with an average list price of $537,416 and an average sales price of $502,278  Homes averaged 110 days on the market

The Reserve, is one of Waxhaw’s most popular neighborhoods and it has held steady this year.  There are currently six homes for sale ranging from $239,000 to $480,000.

 There is one under contract.  Overall 14 homes have sold since the first of the year.  The average home at The Reserve was approximately 3200 sq ft with an average list price of $337,000 and average sales price of $322,000.  Homes stayed on the market for an average of 128 days.  Not bad given the state of the economy!
 
The Reserve offers neighborhood amenities, the schools are minutes away and it’s surrounded by custom luxury home neighborhoods.  These Centex homes offer alot of sq ft for the price and many have 5-6 bedrooms with numerous baths.  Definetly worth taking a look at.

One of the best buys in Union County right now is Quellin.  This neighborhood is located off Marvin-Waxhaw Rd minutes from historic Waxhaw.  Four builders completed Quellin so there are several varieties of homes-stately brick homes, craftsman style homes, several ranches, several basement homes-lots to choose from!  Since January of 2009, the average 4 bedroom home with approx 3800 sq ft has sold for $360,000.  There are currently 18 homes for sale ranging from $245,000 to $569,000.  The average home is $380,000.  There’s full amenities, an active HOA and the brand new Cuthbertson High School and Middle School opened this year.

Providence Glen, located north of Waxhaw and minutes to Wesley Chapel, has some great deals right now!  Currently there is a short sale for under $300,000 and a 6 bedroom/4 bath home for $375,000 available!  These Centex homes offer a lot of square feet for the price and are in a desirable school district.  Enjoy the pond, walking trails and covered picnic area!  The homes that have sold this year range from $277-332,000.  If you need alot of space at a reasonable price with no new construction hassle and an established yard, this is the neighborhood for you!

Weddington Chase is a beatiful community located a few miles South of 485 in Waxhaw, NC.  After a very slow first half of the year, sales are finally picking up in Weddington Chase! Only 3 homes have closed so far this year, but there are currently 7 under contract with 11 homes remaining on the market!

Buyers are seeing the value in an established neighborhood with a reputable builder, fantastic amenities and a desirable school system. Some bank sales and motivated sellers have priced their homes extremely low so now is an excellent time to get into this prestigious neighborhood!
