The Point in Mooresville, NC a Fabulous Place to Live!

mooresville_the_pointThe Point Golf & Country Club that sits at the end of a peninsula in Mooresville, NC.  If you have time to completely delight yourself or if you’re looking for an absolutely incredible place to live then take a trip down to the south end of Brawley School Road. It is about a 25 mile trip from Uptown Charlotte going north.  Take exit 33 and go west until you reach Brawley School Rd, turn left to start your adventure.

Between the architecture of the homes, open water views, the feel of the village square and the Greg Norman designed golf course you will find yourself overwhelmed with beauty.  The Point Golf & Country Club has the feel of Nantucket Island off Massachusetts with a village green, general store, restaurant, tavern, family activities village and docks set aside for a quick boat ride to some of the best views that Lake Norman has to offer.

Homes start around $500K and go up to several millions.  This community is spread throughout numerous fingers and coves of the peninsula giving it a unique and affluent quality.  Twenty homes have either sold or are under contract in the last 3 months for The Point Golf & Country Club community contributing to the desire for Lake Norman Real Estate.  Other communities to consider that are near The Point include: The Farm, The Harbour at the Point and Morrison Plantation which is very reasonably priced.

Each week I write a short blog about a community around Lake Norman  in the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, Denver, Davidson and Mooresville and I try to give you an honest viewpoint of that community.  Aside from the widening of Brawley School road construction I can say without question that The Point Golf & Country Club is truly a special place to live and anyone that is considering this area and has the means should visit The Point.
