Harrisburg, NC is a great little town in an even better location. There are many reasons for moving here and I am going to go over a few right now. First and foremost in my opinion is the location itself (as you can read in the title). Cabarrus County has low taxes and a great school system.
Harrisburg also has a small home town feel to it as if it were hundreds of miles in the country. The Town Hall was made to look as it would have in the past and there are small mom and pop shops around and grocery stores and restaurants are also .
The truth though is far from that. Harrisburg is conveniently located close to I-485 and I-85. A quick 3 mile commute and you can be in the University Area of Charlotte. Five miles and you can be at the two biggest attractions in North Carolina, Concord Mills Mall and Lowe’s Motor Speedway located in Concord NC.
If you love the nightlife Uptown Charlotte is also only 11 miles away. Downtown Charlotte also is where a lot of professionals work. Kannapolis and the Bio Tech Research Center are also a mere 10 miles away. For the water lovers there is Lake Norman which is a short 14 miles away.
