Not a terrible January in Fort Mill, SC. There weren’t a ton of sold homes but we never expect too much from the beginning of the year. The market still feels like it is heating up. Hopefully the weather will too. Now is a great time to start thinking of listing or going ahead and starting your search. Buyers, don’t wait to the last minute if you are interested in taking advantage of the Federal tax credit. Remember, contract by April 30th 2010, close by June 30th 2010.
There were 80 homes listed as active and had an average price of $302,139.

17 properties were pending
34 properties were withdrawn
24 expired
The 33 sold properties had an average list price of $292,523 and an average sale price of $278,600.
