The Parks—New all brick homes in Rock Hill, SC

The Parks, located in Rock Hill SC is one of the few new home communities that offers all brick homes and most certainly one of the very few that can do it in this price range.  The Parks is a community offered by Adams Homes.  In 1991 Adams homes was founded on over 20 years of experience and that experience has helped make them one of the fastest growing builders in the southeast.

The Parks might fit into the range of some first time home buyers and you can definitely use an FHA loan to purchase here but for the most part I believe The Parks should be considered a middle move up community or a retiree/empty nester move down neighborhood.  The Parks is located close to the heart of downtown Rock Hill, it is close to the Piedmont Medical Center, and is very close to most anyone’s shopping and dining needs.  The homes run from a little over 2000 square feet to just under 4000 square feet
and start in the 210K’s.

Newport Lakes a New, New Home Community in Rock Hill, SC

Newport Lakes is a unique new home community in Rock Hill, SC.  Its uniqueness comes from how the community is laid out.  In one big section there is the standard True Home neighborhood and floor plans and in another section there is the Tribute Home section and floor plans.  Now many new home builders in our area will have different collections of homes, but what is different about this area is that the Tribute side is dedicated to creating a place for “downsizers” or retirees.

Outside of the great location in Rock Hill, Newport Lakes has a lot to offer.  Yes, it does have what they call a lake but I think if we are going to be honest it’s more of a pond.  As of right now there aren’t too many of the amenities in place but considering how much space they have there should be ample room to have walking trails and maybe a nice playground.

The styles of homes in Newport Lakes are typical of Truehomes style.  Mostly three, four, and five bedrooms ranging from 1700 square feet to over 3000 square feet.  Some ranch but mostly two stories with one or two garages.  The bigger difference will come with the Tribute home styles.  It is my understanding that all of them are ranches and have many upgrades inside.  Some are two bedroom and others are three.  There are even a few floor plans with a bedroom upstairs.  Some call it a bonus, others call it a FROG.

The Tribute side is being billed as a retirement option that will give you the upgraded lifestyle you want without sacrificing affordability.

Huntersville a community that has changed over the last 20 years looks forward to the next 20.

The Huntersville community plan that was adopted by the Huntersville town board in 1989 did not include developments like Birkdale Village.  In fact they weren’t even a glimmer in a town planner’s eye.  The entire Northcross area was just in the planning stages and exit 25 didn’t even exist. The Cedarfield and Wynfield neighborhoods were the first major subdivisions in the region and were just under way. The Huntersville town limit stopped at I-77 to the west and not too far east of the railroad tracks.

Things have changed since then and when changes came, they came fast. Huntersville has changed significantly in the last 20 years, and the town will experience more changes in the next 20 years. Huntersville includes 11,577 single-family residential homes already built, 7,401 approved homes remain to be constructed.

Even though Huntersville has changed over the last 20 years the town planners have still managed to keep it a desirable location to live.  With all the amenities you need nearby and it easy commute to Uptown Charlotte, the charm of a small town feel why would want to live anywhere else!

If you would like more information about Huntersville please visit Huntersville Real Estate or Lake Norman Real Estate.

Downtown Huntersville is within minutes of Birkdale Village shops, the crystal clear waters of Lake Norman and the nearby towns of Davidson ,Cornelius, Mooresville and Denver.  The town of Huntersville has easy access to I-77 exit 23 or 25.

Some other neighborhoods located in Huntersville are: Alexander Place, Arbor Croft, Barkley, Bay Shores, Birkdale, Birkdale Grove, Birkdale Village, Cambridge Grove, Cashion Woods, Cedarfield, Centennial, Covington, Crown Ridge, Gilead Ridge, Green Farm, Hampton Ridge, Harvest Pointe, Lake Norman, Latta Springs, Lookout Point, Macaulay, Mccord Crossing, Mcginnis Village, Melbourne, Mirabella, Monteith Park, Northstone, Olmsted, Plum Creek, Ramah Oaks, Shelton Ridge, Shepherds Vineyard, Sherwood Forest, Skybrook, Stillwell, Tanners Creek, The Hamptons, The Pavilion, Vermillion, Willowbrook, Wynfield, Wynfield Creek, Wynfield Forest.

Hidden Forest is a Great Neighborhood, in Rock Hill, SC

Hidden Forest is a great neighborhood located Rock Hill SC.  There are many communities in Rock Hill that give that great small town, easy going, comforting feel to them.  Hidden Forest is just one of them.  It’s great to live in an area where you know you can find those hidden gems if you just give it a little effort.

One of the many things I like about this neighborhood is the friendly neighbors.  I have family that live in the area and everytime I drive through I always see someone walking for exercise or walking the dog or kids playing in the yards or even sometimes the street. You get the feeling that if you move in there will be someone coming by the house with a cake or pie to welcome you to the neighborhood.

The location is a main seller of this neighborhood also.  With so many attractions in the area, not to mention the proximity of Charlotte it is always nice to have a home base that is convenient to just about everything.  Hidden Forest is close to schools, grocery stores, shopping, dining, and I-77 will take you wherever you would like to go.

Harrisburg, NC Homes…Not too close…Not too far…Just right

Harrisburg, NC is a great little town in an even better location.   There are many reasons for moving here and I am going to go over a few right now. First and foremost in my opinion is the location itself (as you can read in the title).  Cabarrus County has low taxes and a great school system.

Harrisburg also has a small home town feel to it as if it were hundreds of miles in the country.  The Town Hall was made to look as it would have in the past and there are small mom and pop shops around and grocery stores and restaurants are also .

The truth though is far from that. Harrisburg is conveniently located close to I-485 and I-85.  A quick 3 mile commute and you can be in the University Area of Charlotte.  Five miles and you can be at the two biggest attractions in North Carolina, Concord Mills Mall and Lowe’s Motor Speedway located in Concord NC.

If you love the nightlife Uptown Charlotte is also only 11 miles away. Downtown Charlotte also is where a lot of professionals work.  Kannapolis and the Bio Tech Research Center are also a mere 10 miles away. For the water lovers there is Lake Norman which is a short 14 miles away.

Harrisburg Real Estate is great and has something for everybody. If you are looking for a condo or townhouse Harrisburg Town Center is a great option for you. Offers a clubhouse, community pool and many things within walking distance such as restaurants, grocery shopping, and doctor’s offices.

For homes there is Kensington Forest which is a established neighborhood that has a little bit of everything including great lots and brick homes. For the upper end there is Oak Hollow which boasts some 6000 sqft+ mansions and 10 acre lots for privacy.

As you can see Harrisburg has lots to offer. Not too far from the big city so if you want to go out on the town you can, but yet not too close so that home town feel is not last. For more info and homes visit our website Harrisburg Real Estate. You won’t regret it.

It is now home to The NC Research Campus, a life sciences hub that is home to 8 universities. The Bio Technology Center here is cutting edge and one of the top in the world.

There is plenty around Kannapolis NC to do and places to go for entertainment. Concord Mills and Lowes Motor Speedway are about 10 miles away in Concord NC. The University Area of Charlotte is 12 miles away and is home to The University of North Carolina Charlotte. Lake Norman is also close by and offers all your maritime favorites.
